2025 Tool Scholarship Dinner
Scholarships Awarded to Area Students
The Sixteenth Annual Tools Scholarship Award Dinner was held Thursday, May 7th at Ralph Stumpe's Man Cave in Florence. Since 2011 Shoals Mustangs has awarded scholarships to support graduating high school students in the Shoals area that have shown outstanding performance during their vocational training and are interested in pursuing careers in the automotive and/or mechanical fields.
In the last fifteen years, the club worked with the automotive technology section of various area schools. The club was unable to hold the event in 2020 due COVID-19.
Students receiving tools included Azur Narmore, Caleb Hines, Landon Dugger, Damian Risner, Daniel Pike, Carter Allen, Houston Montgomery, Homer Crittenden, Dakota Mathis, Garrett Freeman, and Donald Barnett.
Students are given tool kits to help get them on their way. Presentation of these scholarships takes place at our monthly meeting in May.
